Isle of Wight

Following the relaxation of lockdown restrictions in July 2020, we decided to take a short break to the Isle of Wight where we visited the Godshill Model Village, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway and the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary (as well as going to the beach a lot!).

Miller’s Ark

On Saturday 16th March 2019, Miller’s Ark Animals had a spring open day. We took Isaac to have a look (and a cuddle).

Visit to RHS Wisley on Sunday 6th May, the record breaking bank holiday weekend.

McHealey Wedding

Ben Healey and Becca McAusland got married on the 15th Novmber 2017 at Hornington Manor near York. The next day the remaining guests chilled out playing board games.

Alton Bus Rally 2017

On the 16th July 2017, the annual Alton Bus Rally took place. Being just a couple of minutes free vintage bus ride away, I went along.

Painted Monasteries of Bucovina

The Painted Monasteries of Moldavia are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in May 2017 we travelled the 8 hours from the outskirts of Bucharest to the region to visit them. We also spend a little time in Suceava visiting the fortress and village museum.

It had been 10 years since my last trip on the Watercress Line, so on the 4th March 2017 Monica and I decided to see what had changed.

Sins of the Father

In 2016 Grim North staged a new production of the 2009 play “Sins of the Father”. Five years later I was invited back to produce production photography for them.

Time to Remember

In May 1916, Farnham paused to remember those affected by war. A century later, the town gathered to commemorate that unique moment, the world’s first two minutes silence. Incorporating specially-commissioned music, re-enactment and May Day celebrations.

Hovercraft Museum

Down in Lee-on-the-Solent there’s an obscure museum: the Hovercraft Museum. Run by volunteers the museum is managing to open to the public every Saturday from 10am to 4pm. I went with a friend on the 2nd April.
